Mitch Lasky

Mitch Lasky

Mitch Lasky has spent more than two decades in the mobile gaming, new media and interactive entertainment business.  Prior to joining Benchmark Capital, Mitch served as an executive vice president of Mobile and Online at Electronic Arts. Previously, he was chairman and chief executive officer of JAMDAT Mobile, INC (NASDAQ: JMDT), the leading global publisher of wireless entertainment applications, which he joined as a startup in 2000, took public in 2004, and sold to EA in 2006.  Prior to JAMDAT, Mitch served as general manager of eCompanies Wireless LLC, a startup incubator.

He also spent five years at Activision, the world's largest game publisher, most recently as executive vice president of Worldwide Studios. Earlier in his career, Mitch practiced intellectual property law, worked at the Walt Disney Company and started a massively multiplayer online game company. Mitch received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Literature from Harvard College and earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

As managing partner of Rustic Canyon, Nate is responsible for leading the firm.  Nate is part of an extended family of entrepreneurs. Growing up in this environment instilled in him an appreciation for the process of creating and building great companies. He leans on experience as an investor, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor to work alongside extraordinary entrepreneurs. Nate has a keen interest in disruptive change to help emerging companies create breakthrough products and build value.

Before Rustic Canyon, Nate worked with Professor Clayton Christensen at the Harvard Business School and co-founded an internet infrastructure company.  Previously, Nate worked with the Boston Consulting Group, the Boeing Company, and General Electric. Nate earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MSE and BSE from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, where he was an Entrepreneurial Fellow in the Engineering Global Leadership Honors Program.

Paul joined NEA in 2003 and is a Partner in NEA's Menlo Park office. He currently sits on the boards of Alien Technology Corporation, Boingo Wireless, Inc., DreamFactory Software, Inc., Elance, Inc., Gaikai, and Motion Computing, Inc. Prior to NEA, Paul co-founded Mazu Networks, a spin-off from MIT (acquired by Riverbed Technology, NASDAQ: RVBD). He began his career at Medtronic and McKinsey. Paul received his MBA from Harvard and a Bachelor's degree in engineering from MIT.

David Perry

David Perry is the CEO and co-founder of Gaikai, as well as a proven executive video game industry consultant. He's been a gaming industry visionary for the past 25 years and has been one the strongest evangelists of game streaming technology. His professional experience includes working with Hollywood Directors, Hollywood Studios, Licensing in/out, IP Creation, Patenting, Trademarking, Budgeting, Creative Direction, Designing, Programming, Out-Sourcing, Funding, Production and many other facets of the business of making and selling professional video games.

On a day-to-day basis, Perry is committed to driving the gaming industry itself to new heights. Perry sits on the advisory board of the Game Developers Conference and the Video Games Expo, and is a regular speaker at conferences, industry award shows and industry research organizations.
